Dámy a pánové, přeneste se s námi do pařížské opery konce 19. století a vstupme do podmanivého příběhu Fantoma a Christine.

Dovolujeme si vás pozvat na studentské nastudování muzikálu The Phantom of the Opera, který vznikl v rámci dvouletého projektu „Divadla v AJ – The Phantom Crew of Lauder School“, v kterém propojujeme výtvarné a divadelní umění a tanec. Studenti/ herci si sami vyrábí masky, kulisy, stříhají a editují text a hudbu a nacvičují choreografii pod vedením Mgr. Kláry Synkové (UK, PhD studium v oboru Drama in English classes; modern dance, tango argentino), členů pražské scény argentinského tanga a hostujícího profesionálního tanečníka Sašy Živkoviče. Po představení bude v magických prostorách lodi Tajemství následovat Fantomova milonga (pražská scéna argentinského tanga). Masky budou draženy při představení, budeme se těšit na tajemně maskované tanečníky i netanečníky, a samozřejmě tajemně krásné tanečnice i netanečnice.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let us take you to the mysterious Opera Populaire at the turn of the century and the heart-wrenching story of The Phantom of the Opera and Christine taking place in the mid-19th century. Let us invite you to a student version of the musical, a performance to complete a two-year project of the Theatre in English group “The Phantom Crew of Lauder School“. Students are actively engaged in choreography, mask and props making, music cutting and text diting under the artistic guidance of Klara Synkova, a PhD student [Drama in English classes], dancer of modern dance and tango argentino, members of Prague tango scene and host professional dancer Sasa Zivkovic. The performance will be followed by The Phantom’s Milonga Populaire. The masks will be auctioned during the show so we will be looking forward to mysterious divas and masked gentlemen, both dancers to enjoy the dancefloor and non-dancers to soak the mysterious atmosphere of the Boat of Mystery.
