This time-shifting comedy is both parody and spoof of the Victorian Empire and its repressive attitudes, especially about sex. There is Clive, a British colonist; his wife Betty (played by a man); their daughter Victoria (played by a doll); Clive’s friend Harry, an explorer; the widow Mrs. Saunders, who runs about with a riding crop; Clive’s son Edward, who plays with dolls and is played by a woman; and Joshua, a native servant who knows exactly what is really going on. What is really happening is a nonstop chain of sexual liaisons. All this time the natives are restless in the background. The second act moves to London in 1979. For the surviving characters, it is only twenty-five years later, and all those repressed sexual longings have disappeared, along with the Empire.

Komediální parodie, která nás přenese v čase do časů Viktoriánského impéria a jeho represivních přístupů k různým tématům, zejména sexu. Hrají: Clive, britský kolonizátor a jeho žena Berry (hraje ji muž), jejich dcera Victorie (hraná panenkou). Cliveův kamarád Harry – objevitel, vdova paní Saunders, Cliveův syn Edward, který si hraje s panenkami a ztvárňuje ho žena a Joshua, domorodý služebný, který přesně ví, co se děje v nekonečném řetězci sexuálních hrátek. A k tomu všemu vždy přítomní domorodci v pozadí. Druhé dějství se posouvá do Londýna v roce 1979. Pro přeživší postavy je to jen o 25 let později a všechny sexuální represe skončily spolu s impériem.
